ITINERARY – DAY PER DAY

Day 01: CUSCO - CACHORA – ROSALINA (L) (D)

We pick up you from your hotel very early in the morning then we will take bus from Cusco to Cachora, in the way we will see colorful and typical towns of the Andean zone like Izcuchaca, Tarawasi and Abra de Saywite, soon to enter and have breakfast in Cachora. After the breakfast; along with our equipment loaded in mules and horses we began the ascent towards a viewpoint in Wayna Qalli, from where we can appreciate a part of the archaeological complex of Choquequiraw besides a beautiful view of the snowed like Vilcabamba: Padrayoc and Wayna Cachora. Soon we descend towards Capuliyuc, cuca Masana, where the flora and fauna begin to change, until arriving at La Playa Rosalina (1550 masl). Dinner and spends the night

Day 02: ROSALINA - SANTA ROSA - CHOQUEQUIRAO (B) (L) (D)

After the breakfast we went towards the distillery of local liquor called Santa Rosa. This second day trekking is considered like most arduous, due to the ascent from early towards mountains of the cusqueño side, with direction towards Marampata, in the route we will observe orchids and violets in the course of the way we will be able to appreciate flora, fauna and diversity of birds and insects. We will continue mainly towards Raqaypata where we can appraised orchids in the borders of the Chunchullmayo river. We will arrive at Choquequirao. Camping in Raqaypata - Choquequiraw (2.910 masl). Dinner and spends the night

Day 03: CHOQUEQUIRAW (B) (L) (D)

Guided visit all the archaeological Complex of Choquequiraw to visit this complex in its eight sectors; between barns, warehouse, enclosures, portable altars and terraces. Lunch We will continue visiting this majestic place where we will observe the excavations where there are houses, terraces, canals of irrigation of this Inca citadel, ruins in excavation process and finally unexplored areas what means that could be the last refuge Inca, approximately at 3,00 p.m. following the climate we will be able to see the fly over of condors. That we are going to visit all the complete day. Dinner spends the night

Day 04: CHOQUEQUIRAO – CHIQUISCA (B) (L) (D)

After the breakfast, we will enjoy a free time to visit for the last time Choquequirao, and later to descend by the same route towards Chiquisca. In the route we will again observe the the Apurimac canyon, we will be able here to appreciate the fly over again of the condor, the ebullient vegetation the variety of flowers and orchids. Lunch in La Playa Rosalina and camping in chiquisqa Dinner and spends the night

Day 05: CHIQUISCA - CACHORA – CUSCO (B) (L) (D)

After the breakfast in Chiquisca we initiated the ascent towards the viewpoint of Wayna Qalli. Lunch From the viewpoint it is possible to appreciate the Apurímac river, considered the most spectacular in South America soon we continued the trek until arriving to Cachora where there will be a bus waiting for us to return towards Cusco.
